Handling coloring mixture after use
Any leftover coloring mixture will become ineffective. Be sure to wash it off to dispose. Do not store coloring mixtures that have been used to color your hair. Doing so is dangerous; gas is generated and may cause the container to burst.
Multi-use products
For types that can be divided into smaller portions such as creams, be sure to wash off any leftover mixture after use and dispose of it. Also, wash the tray and brush and store these for the next time you color your hair. Read the instruction leaflet attached to the product you used for more information.
Some hair color products are aerosols. To dispose of an aerosol product, go outside where there are no ignition sources, press the lever to release the gas completely until the spraying sound stops. Read the instruction leaflet attached to the product you used for more information.
Single-use products
For single-use products such as lotion-type hair coloring products, be sure to wash off any remaining coloring mixture after use and dispose of it. Leftover bottles cannot be reused.
